1.3GHz Later

I got my HP Pavilion Dual-Core Desktop from Woot today! I'm super excited to get it out of the box and start using it.

While I was setting up my HP desktop, the computer tower fell onto my ankle and sort of…trapped me. I'm having a heck of a time getting it off. Guess that 500GB hard drive and integrated HD graphics are pretty heavy! Heh heh he. Well, someone should be along shortly to help me out.

So I get how this is a lesson in hubris. I wanted a big, powerful computer and I got one, but its very size is now literally crushing me. I get it. So whatever gods are out there watching this: "I GOT IT. LET ME GO." I'm getting thirsty and there's a Clearly Canadian just out of my reach.

I think I'm beginning to hallucinate. Maybe it's the gangrene in my ankle.

The cooling system on the desktop is great, but unfortunately it's blowing hot air right in my face. My lips are chapped and I'm severely dehydrated. Would that I had that Clearly Canadian!

Where…is…everybody? Rot has spread up the leg. I've removed the computer's housing and fashioned an ad-hoc bone saw. I hope it doesn't come to that.

AAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIGH! That's what it sounded like. I'm not actually journaling while performing self-amputation. I Googled how to cut off your own leg and followed the directions. Then I realized that I could have used the computer's "Internet" feature to ask for help. Oh well, there's always next time! For now I'm enjoying the crisp, refreshing taste of Clearly Canadian.

Top Comments are discussion forum posts we have deemed worthy of your time. Listen, we get a lot of comments, and most of the time, it's pretty forgettable stuff; but sometimes you rise to the top like butterfat in milk. We don't recommend you base your self-worth on how often we feature your comments, but we don't expressly forbid it either.
