Everybody says Harry Houdini was the greatest escape artist to ever live, but they've got it wrong. Dude just got off on being handcuffed, strait-jacketed, and buffeted violently in a barrel. Once he had gotten his jollies, OF COURSE he had to find some way to escape, and that's the Houdini the public knew.

Now we're not saying there's anything wrong with a little handcuffing, et cetera. We here at Woot at certainly going to be the last ones to be casting stones in the bizarre-sexual-fetish department. But we think it's time the curtain was finally drawn on the widespread misconception of Harry Houdini. You would learn some pretty nifty ways to escape from a safe if you were constantly begging women to lock you in one as punishment for being a 'very, very bad boy," too.
