Well, how do you fare compared to the Zeitgeist? Chat up your fellow wooters and let us know how lame this poll was or what obvious choices we missed. For example: Was this poll a) STUPID, b) DUMB, c) POINTLESS or d) ALL OF THE ABOVE?

New car, less hassle. Used car, more money left after.

Thanks to up-to-the-minute tracking, I don't track my package so much as stalk it.

I never bought a new car, but they have been new to me. Bought a couple of program cars.

My last five were high-end luxury vehicles coming off lease. All have been 1-2 years old, real gems and great deals. Current one was a year-old dealer car, demo/loaner, low miles, and titled as "new". Love it.

Bought a brand new Camaro SS convertible...... Wife loved it for a week. Now it sits in the garage. Gets a coat of wax looks great. Paid for in full. Collects dust and she says, but its in the garage if I want to drive it. Yea? You could go down to Rent a car and rent one!! She says and you can go to Home depot and rent a F250! So I went out and bought a F350! All's fair in love and war. This is 32 years of marital bliss!!!!!! God, I love this woman!!!! She said, nice truck! Still isn't a Camaro!

Certified Pre-Owned!

Let someone else take the initial depreciation hit and get a lower price on a low milage car.

Audi extends the warranty from 4 yrs/50000, to 6 yrs/100000

"better"?
You ask as if cost had nothing g to do with choice.
New, I'd say...

I'm with you on this.
I go for Subaru's though.
I was in a head-on accident with a careless driver - totaled my car.
I had a bruised arm.

Ah, the hell with it.

New comes at a price premium that simply isn't worth it. I bought a '96 Tacoma off craigslist for $2500, drove it for 8 years and 80K before it died, most serious work it ever needed was brakes.
