I have this very monitor from a recent Best Buy sale via CNET Cheapskate. Same price, though picked up at the store.

Its early but so far I'm quite happy with it. Definitely a good deal. Though I'm pretty darned sure mine was not a refurb.

I hope it's a whole lot better than the 22" AOC monitor offered several weeks back. I bought one and it had the worst picture I've ever seen on an LCD or LED monitor, bar none. It also shipped with an incompatible power cord. I requested a refund, but Woot sent a replacement instead. The image quality is similarly substandard (with practically no viewing "angle" and iridescent colors in the shadows if you wander away from the viewing point at all). I don't know why such a monitor ever went into production or was offered here to Woot's customers. I learned my lesson, though, and will be a much more discriminating Wooster from now on. Hopefully, this larger monitor is better engineered.

$199 new on the mothership with free shipping. Reviews appear to be decent once you get the configuration set. The reviews contain several "guides" on the settings to use to get the best picture. In particular, one review mentions tweaks specific to nVidia cards.

For a 27+" monitor, consider higher resolution to escape the Taint of HD.

Is this worth the money than 22" in Woot Plus?
