I got one when Woot offered them a couple of months back. Awful is a charitable term. Autofocus doesn't work well at all - and it eems to be working all the time, even after you thought you had focused. So in the middle of a scene, the autofocus starts hunting again.
Toshiba customer support is beyond awful The zoom function on the remote didn't work well: it would zoom for only part of the range. Then you had to zoom again. Called customer service. They have no tech support. I couldn't even apply for a replacement remote until I had the unit for 15 days. Toshiba hung up on me when I asked for a supervisor.
Second really bad experience with Toshiba within a year. Never again.
