Seems like there is an "E1 error" issue with these.

http://www.complaintsboard.com/complaints/life-smart-infared-heater-oklahoma-c416117.html

The unit will basically be working and then turn off and show the "E1" code.

147.99 on Amazon with 3.6 out of 5 stars given from customers. People seem to really love it or hate it.

Bought the same thing from a big box hardware store and it works good for my 500sq ft room I use it in, but I only paid $85.99.

I have 4 words about this heater...

The remote is a very nice addition especially on a cold night not having to get out of bed.

They have a model down from this one rated for 1000 sq ft that Walmart sold for $79...

I bought one previously. I can't ever tell if it's working. It certainly seems to be USELESS.

Woot didn't respond to an inquiry.

The mfr, when I called, had very nice people answering the phone, who gave lots of different answers...it has a fan, it doesn't have a fan, just wait 10 minutes.

It seems to have a heater in it that does get warm, but, no fan. No sense that the heat is leaving the device. It either isn't working, or just sucks.
