Yes it is good! It has pressure portafilter that extracts well even if you don't have the exact grind fineness! Its not fussy about Grind! Its perfect for Lattes and not so much for straight shots!

I have an older version of this that I got from my grandparents (possibly 10+ years old) and it's still going strong! Fully recommended.

I got this in August and am happy with it, but had no luck using those pre-made pods. Coffee was watery,

Anybody know how to get good results from pods?

What size cup were you filling? I fear you were trying to fill a 6 ounce mug with a pod designed for a one ounce shot of espresso. Please tell me it ain't so! You need a Keurig machine for large coffees.

acpress.com Not cute, but useful.

Anyone know the country of origin of the machine?

I hate the word compatible. Does it mean you have to use ESE Pods? Or can I buy my own coffee, pour the amount I want into the holder, tamp it, and pass the hot water thru it.

I find that the pods are as someone indicated only for a two ounce cup. Not my liking! Besides that, they require overpriced coffee.

Thanks for the previous post information!! There were a couple of really informative reviews there!

So, since I'm not a total coffee snob, and since I can't afford a 4-figure price for a "true espresso machine" as they call it, I'm in for one of these today!
