I have the one handled.
I think it's the reason my fiancé has stayed with me over these years.

Get one, save your relationship.

I seriously just bought a collapsible colander maybe a week, two weeks ago. This is totally a better deal. Whyyy Woot?!?!?!

Since I can't find a review on my own, I'll quote ChgoOptician from last woot:

Double Handle $42
Sears has these sold separately - no reviews.

I found a review of a Starfrit product. It is not exactly one of these and has only one customer's comments. The reviewer loves it and warns that in the dishwasher if it touches anything it will leave a permanent dent in the silicone. So make sure it stands directly upright. I could live with that.

There are 2 reviews there now at Canadian Tire, but the second one much less detailed--3 stars, large enough for most things, but collapses. I also edited the Sears links hopefully correctly and updated the prices.

This is really awkward timing. I was just using the one i bought (one-handled with assist) in a previous woot earlier today thinking how awesome it was and how i would buy another in a heart beat. Low and behold, woot puts it up a few hours later! This colander is great!

I have to chime in. I got the one with the handle to replace a collapsible silicone colander that cracked. I like this one better. It is a good size, and the metal base is convenient. The only drawback is the lack of packaging - it just came in a box in a clear plastic bag. Not great to give as a gift...well, not if you are trying to impress someone by giving them a colander...(I will, however, be giving one as a gift)

Do you think this could be placed over a smaller pot of boiling water and used as a steamer?

In for three with the handle, since that's all that's left. Christmas is coming. Thanks Sellout Woot!

I bought this the last time it was offered and I love it! The single handle makes it easy to use, it cleans easily, and takes almost no room in the colander storage area of my cabinet.

I got one of these in the last woot off. I was really surprised how nice it was. Nicer than most I see in the store for much more money.

Makes perfect sense to me! Someone trying to be punny . . .

Colander>>>Calender

Thank you for that explanation.

I bought one of each the last time they were offered. I tried the one handled one first and I love the utility of it. The handle, however, is attached the colander with a very weak weld. Using it to one handed toss the colander contents could be potentially dangerous as mine broke from a simple sink tap. To woot's credit they sent me a replacement rather than making me deal with the warranty through Starfrit.
