We used the backpack all weekend for GeekGirlCon and it was perfect (only thing that would have made it better was to have woot! embroidered on it). I got a full box of very cool stuff, bug zapper rackets, the backpack, a small duffle bag (also used this weekend), a shopping bag (yup used that too), I think there was something else, but anyway, way above and beyond! Thanks woot, most helpful and timely crap ever!!!

Oh and the roomba I got in a Bundles of Crayons ages ago, never worked.

My roomba still works, but after being stored for 4 years it now needs a new battery, which was delivered today.

She and Gimma had one of the first woot related web sites. Crap swap? Maybe.

Britain had a war with someone (Zimbabwe? Nigeria?) that lasted 38 minutes. I figure the Canadia takeover would take slightly shorter.

edit: Zanzibar!

Hubby born in Canada?

Both parents born in Hong Kong, immigrated to Canada, I believe as adults. His mom still maintains her HK citizenship. We stayed with family when we went to HK a couple years ago. Hubby was born in Canada, but didn't speak English until he went to school. His mom's English is...interesting (see facebook photo posted today for an example).

I played the tuba in high school, I was 1st chair at 3 different schools (we traveled alot), I also played trombone and baritone.

I haven't played in decades but I could probably still jam out a polka if I had to.
