Oh - guess what? I may be really slow at my weight loss - but I just fit into a size pants that I haven't seen in probably 6 or 7 years! it may take me a while - but I'm getting there!

Actually - probably closer to 8 or 9 years!!!

Have a good trip Poof. Still windy and downpours, but I did get out to the beaches that were closed for a few days. Surf's still up where there is usually very little. All of the touristy places seem empty. I hear the weather system is going to hang around until Friday. I am used to clouds and rain now - acclimating me for my SEA trip.

Somehow my Fil claims it was "blessed" by a priest. Yeah. In the 40's. Right.

From what the nuns were teaching us in the 60's, they were born out of wedlock. All 8 of them.

i'm not familiar with 1940s practises. did the church never bless civil ceremonies afterwards? seems like bishops used to be able to issue dispensations ... ?
