Good morning everyone. We had to get the binding on our family room carpet fixed, so we just emptied out all the furniture in that room and I'm cleaning the hardwood floors. Husband just went to pick the carpet up so I'm taking a break until he gets back. I should probably shower, but I'm thinking a nap woud be a better use of my time.

Crazy.. wife's doing financials, I've been entertaining kids. So youngest went down for nap, oldest is playing nicely, so I'm trying to grade and catch up on the wootiness, such as my shirt design...

Next week is going to be an expensive shirt weekend. 6 shirts I might buy in the top 11. Including some I didn't vote for to try to keep pocketfish in the fog.
I voted for them now. How can I buy a shirt I didn't vote for? I vote for plenty that make me laugh and have no chance of winning.

If you like it, you should buy it. Voting is strategy as well as support in these contests, but you definitely should vote your heart.

The "I'd Want One" button should mean just that. I'm not going to go out this Tuesday and vote for Mike Huckabee or Barak Obama just because I like them!

...But this is another topic for another forum.

That is where the purest get seperated from the rest of us.
I vote for plenty of shirts I wouldn't buy.
I give at least one vote to all of my friends, even if I wubble the shirt.
If it has no chance of being in the fog, and it makes me laugh, even if I would never wear it, I'll vote for a shirt.

It would be a whole other game if I was required to buy the shirt if it wins.
Woot can't do that, because then people could only vote if they have to money for a shirt.

Imagine the financial and legal ramifications of THAT!

But I also tend to vote like dname.... Actually, I tend to throw a ton a votes to people with very few votes on the last day. Why not? I it makes someone get 10 votes instead of 9, and it's a decent design, that may make some designer feel good...

Just got back from Max & Erma's. They have the best onion rings. We had a coupon for $8 off a $20 bill. Pretty good coupon.

Ours was huge. Two levels, a bit dark, lots of good food. Was next to a Friday's, and was much better. Never went to the one you mention, though they had a kicking german restaurant there in German Village (Schmidt's)

It seems to me I've heard that if you order something in a Penney's store out of the catalog, that you don't have to pay shipping. Does anyone know?

Only until early afternoon. I think son was supposed to be at dad's this weekend for his birthday, right? But her Internet's been acting up, too. Maybe that's it.

It's only free if they normally carry it in the store and are out. IE- the catalog has 34/29 pants in the catalog, but never in the store. So if I order it out of the catalog, I pay shipping...

Hmm. There's a lamp I really like on sale, but $23 shipping just really annoys me.
